Preschool Gymnastics
The preschool program at Charles Harding Gymnastics, known as Tumbleroo Gymnastics, is divided into three categories to enhance the child's physical development and social skills. We want the preschooler's experience with physical fitness to be fun, challenging and safe.
1) Tiny Tumbleroo classes offer instruction to our youngest participants, ages 16 months through 2 years. Songs and games keep the student attentive and motivated while coordination and balance are enhanced through basic gymnastic and tumbling skills.
2) Tumbleroo classes are designed with the 3 and 4-year-old student in mind. The use of colorful mats and smaller, adjustable equipment aid in the learning process as children develop strength, flexibility and the awareness to perform introductory gymnastic skills. Class curriculum includes tumbling, bars, balance beam, vault and trampoline.
3) High Step classes are the final step before a 5-year-old preschooler transitions into our daily, recreational program. These young gymnasts gain a broader readiness to safely attempt and perform skills on floor, bars, beam, vault and trampoline. Gymnasts learn proper presentation and alignment while entering and exiting skills. Academic readiness, sequencing and following directions are high priorities for this group.
Recreational Gymnastics
